Our Watford nursery opened in 2007 and is the nursery that started the Boys & Girls journey. The nursery is located in a purpose-built building in the heart of Watford’s business district and a stone’s throw away from the shopping centre, Watford Junction station and Watford General Hospital.
The nursery benefits from excellent transport links as Watford Junction Station / Watford Town Centre are a two-minute walk away.
Our children enjoy weekly phonics, sports and music & movement classes to expand their learning and nursery experience.

SchoolReady
We work closely with local schools to ensure children have the right skills in readiness for school.
By combining your child’s interests with our team’s guidance, our SchoolReady programme helps children develop a positive attitude to learning.
Activities
Our three base rooms have been designed with lots of different areas to ensure everyone has plenty of room to play, learn, explore and have fun. Our gardens at the front and back of the nursery are in constant use – the children love nothing more than being out in the fresh air with their friends.
Children enjoy weekly sporting activities with Sprog Sports; Tiny Mites provide interactive music and sensory classes; and we also have weekly Phonics lessons delivered by Robot Reg to enhance our
children’s learning and prepare them for starting school. Regular walks around the local area are enjoyed by all – the children love exploring.
We also welcome members of the local community into nursery for educational visits to expand our children’s understanding of the important roles they play. These range from the Fire Brigade, Animal Charities and local Dentists.
Transport
Our nursery in Watford is so easy to get to. It is located in a purpose built building within Watford’s business district, just a short distance from the shopping centre, Watford Junction train station and Watford General Hospital.
The M25 and M1 motorways are also nearby. We even have a storage area for you to leave pushchairs and car seats if you need to.
Security
Our warm and welcoming entrance can only be accessed via our secure entry phone system.
All rooms are monitored by CCTV and we invite parents to watch this from the reception area to ensure their little one has settled.
